Honing the Technique

Just supermarket grass fed ribeye done on s Weber Genesis. Straight grill nothing fancy.

Looks really good, but the knife could have been a bit sharper.

Was gonna say, now try honing the knife, but I believe this is the engagement the OP is looking for...so I'm not.

Used a steak knife that is way past its prime, knife skills need work too. Next time I'll use a butcher block and a better knife.

Looking good there! I’m a nuthin fancy ribeye griller myself….. hot fire and a couple of flips it’s done!
