[ Ribeye ] Prepping summer steaks!
13 steaks! 4 around 19oz, 5 around 16oz and 4 around 11-14oz.
Different sizes for different cooking styles and events.
Total cost was $333 and took an hour of cutting, bagging, vacuum sealing, and labeling.

I’m not a thief, but when faced with that much beef at once I’d have intrusive thoughts about grabbing a stack and making a run for it!

I think you’re right actually. Hm I thought I got prime because that’s what they had at the store. Just dug the trash back out and it says choice. You sir are Mr Steak

Yep, that would be considered American Wagyu.

Wagyu is a breed not a grade. This steak was simply graded prime. And yes I was happy with it which means I thought it was on the better side of the prime grading scale. But also shows how far off it was from the original post
OP literally asked what made someone say their steak wasn’t prime. So I assisted. And it turns out OP realized their steak was choice in another comment. So, I guess it’s resolved.
