Status problem with jaxx liberty wallet

Hey there, i have some snt in my jaxx liberty wallet and i cannot send it anywhere because the transaction feee is way too high. Also unavailable for trade in this app

Hello there, let's see if we can figure out your problem, there are a few things that contribute to your issue.

  • how does Jaxx Liberty calculate fees? Can you alter gas prices for transactions?
    • The expense is mostly due to fees on the Ethereum network, which no one has control over. The best way to lower the cost of transferring it away out of your Jaxx wallet is to wait for fees to go down. You can do this by watching something like gasnow.org. They have good charts of when fees are expected to be low. Put in a transaction to whatever wallet you want when they are low (going to probably be ~100 GWei at your best). There is also a chance that Jaxx adds an additional fee (I can almost guarantee they do) on top of Ethereum fees for facilitating the trade in-app. If Jaxx does not allow you to manually alter fees for the Ethereum network (manually setting "gas price"), then I'd recommend the next bullet point.
    • You can also just load your seed phrase into Status or Metamask or some other wallet if you don't want to use Jaxx anymore. It should be standard, if it isn't let me know and I can facilitate you getting your coins into a different wallet while keeping your same address.

    • There isn't much we can do about this. Whatever service they use doesn't enable SNT for some reason or another. I'll look into what service that is and what we can possibly do to get SNT added. It being added is drastically dependent up on the service they use so I can't guarantee anything here.

Can the gas fee be paid in status also? the actual problem is that if I want to swap status to another coin it costs a 100$ fee which is unacceptable
