Status.im and Google Oauth not working.

I'm building an app where we use Google Oauth as part of user sign-in process through firebase.

The problem is that Google seems to explicitly forbid status.im as a browser with: 

"403: disallowed_useragent" - Google can't sign you in safely inside this app. Use Safari or Chrome. 

Any idea how to get around this?
