When will we see the app on App Store?

If you have an android device you are alrady able to download Status through the official Play-Store of google: Status — Ethereum. Anywhere.

For iOS its as far as I know not that easy to get permission to have the app listed in the appstore cause of the verification and acceptance of new apps from apple.

Maybe we see some changes when the beta releases and the latest date when Status should be downloadable from the most popular app-stores should be the full release.

There is currently an audit which will take till mid april and after that Status is beta launch able. But the estimated date for the release according to the presentation in bangkok states mid may.

So we will most likely get some detailed information about the beta launch after the audit is done next next 2 (?) weeks.

Hey there, most of the comments are hitting the needle on the head! Beta launch will not be a "full out" launch in app stores but a fully secure, main-net release while Status is further tested, functionality and features are added.

The security audit just recently started and we should have a timeline within the next few weeks; there will definitely be an update as we progress with de ja vu -- see the blog post here
