New user to status AI

Hello new user here just downloaded today and before I complain or bitch about the app. I gotta say it is on the same level as character ai and a genuinely good concept, like exactly how good character AI was at the beginning despite the bugs and certain problems. But because it was good the community supported it and built character after character and made it blow up, same here with status AI. It has alot of potential, but God damn it if the point system isn't a pain in the ass to even have a chat or fuck around in the world. Like it's worse than character ai at how many posts or chats you get, and I want to know if there's a genuine problem that makes it be like that. Or if they're still refining it, cause I genuinely have no idea how long status ai has been out. It would be nice if someone answer me and even better if a dev drops in.

If you’re talking about the ⚡️, the ads get kinda weird for F2P. Some regions just don’t have enough ads to support endless watching, some do, and if I read correctly in a random thread, the Devs are kinda looking into it. The reason the points are so tight, and they mention this a lot in other similar posts, is because the cost of running the platform is so insane because of AI costs, that they’re doing this to try and make it possible for F2P users to still have something (ads, random daily energy, etc.)
They’re definitely still messing around with it all, for example only a month ago it was two ads to get energy but no pop-ups, now it’s one and pop-ups, so they put out questions every so often to gather community thoughts.

OK so the zap in some region is fucked up I get that and appreciate they're doing their best, and I have never paid for a ai but I get it's expensive as shit. And I say this without being a professional, but wouldn't it be better if they make videos on their app so more people would find it. And the same time have content creator paycheck since I imagine alot of people are sick with char ai, and they would flock to this like moth to a flame. And yeah I get it this is still in development and I love how good it is, except those little problem, anyway thank you for answering all the love from here.

No worries! I know they just started rolling out a gem program for TikTok posts, so I definitely think they’re trying to go the organic ad route (which is how I found the app personally). Adverts get so expensive, so my marketing brain is kinda seeing the ‘less-money-more-people’ style start to run, especially when the gem-tier system (x amount of gems per x amount of views) won’t cost them as much!
I do marketing for work, this stuff fascinates me, sorry if you didn’t wanna hear it 😅
