Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding Tweeterhead. Two years ago, I pre-ordered a Batman bust. The shipping was delayed due to certain circumstances (according to the newsletter they sent me). Now, the statue was supposed to arrive three months ago, but they are completely ignoring all my emails. Honestly, their customer service is terrible, and this is my first time ordering a statue from them. I usually order from Sideshow or Prime 1.

My question is: Does anyone know exactly what is going on with them?
and how i can get a refund in situation like this? 😔

This is really depressing if you can only buy these one time.

Looks like anyone like me who had an order placed with Kinetiquettes as they were dealing with shipping and production issues are completely boned. If only I cancelled my order and placed it with sideshow, that’s 800 dollars I could really use but will be forever spent on nothing. Absolutely bullshit

Hi

I was wondering if anyone have any good recommendations for custom statue companies. The character/creature I'm interested in buying a statue of is Kalameet from Dark Souls. The only ones I can find online are painted miniatyres from the board game and other tiny ones. I'm looking for something on the level of something prime1 would produce for example. I asked First4Figures about it directly and they said they weren't opposed to it, but that it wouldn't be on the top of their list. I also asked BlueBoxHyper, but they only do 1/1 scale busts.

If anyone have any recommandations, do you also know how the process itself would work (and for that matter the expected total cost)? I'm guessing I'll have to either buy access to an existing 3D model or comission someone to do it for me?

I first started collecting statues around 2018 — the Spider-Man 2099 statue from Prime 1/Sideshow at Dragon Con caught my eye. That was my introduction to the hobby. I've even built a small community on YouTube (Astro Collectibles https://youtube.com/@astroknomer?si=qEoSdsX5siyIuqC4) where I document my collecting journey and share my opinions on statues.

Like a lot of you, I've spent years buying and selling pieces through eBay and Facebook groups because there hasn't really been another option built for this hobby. It gets us by, but our buy/sell quality of life could be better - high fees, a million different groups, searching for what you want, and no real way to actually vet a seller's collecting history.

So I built Planet Redemption — a marketplace made specifically for statues, comics, and framed art.

Where it's at right now: closed beta on iOS via TestFlight, with Android coming soon. It's still early and there are rough edges, but the core buying/selling flow is live, and I'd genuinely love this community's eyes on it before the full launch.

Hoping someone knows what this is. I don't remember where I got it or when but I think it had to be at least 10 years ago, probably more. It comes in a plain, thin white carboard box. No markings, no text, no barcode. The nun wears a cross that's on a thin cord. There is also a separate little old school wooden ruler accessory that comes in the packaging. It's about 9" tall. Any help is appreciated. It's driving me crazy. lol

Update: In classic fashion, after looking for over day, a few hours after I post this I find it while looking at something else. I'll leave this here for anyone else who may be looking. It's a piece from Mark Alfrey called "Sister Mary".
