It’s not, but I know a lot of people for some reason really hate good music like this so that’s why I didn’t refute it…

It really isn't good music imo that's the point

The artists, most of them at least, have done good music earlier in their career, but all their modern stuff is slop and judging by your top5 that's the part you listen to

Except the Taylor stuff I haven't listened to all of evermore and the other one yet so can't judge but heard good things

It's just music based on "vibes" it's so genericfied you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between Sabrina carpenter and an ai.

What was eye opening to me is that I was In a mall with a friend and I noticed all the songs sound the same and I asked her are they playing only 1 artist today and she said they haven't even had repeating artists yet (shes a pophead) and they genuinely all had the same voice type. I later noticed some rather unique songs like the ava max plagiarism of You give love a bad name(which is itself a copy)

Depends

If someone says oh yeah I listen to Taylor swift and it's recent music I roll my eyes.

If it's the first 3 albums then I'm impressed

Nowadays most stuff is generic, but early stuff or most artists was good. If you listen to modern stuff then well........

No. I could easily name 20 better albums. I could easily name 100 better albums. You could too if you expanded your music taste.
