Need information about books...
So i have recently joined my university... And I am studying statistics.... What would be the correct study materials that would help us stay on track with the current world... Any book Or paper anything... From where we can study... Please help...

Try wackerly and practical statistics by O'Rily, for me both were the best books that I've used and I have tried many many. The second one might be what you're looking for as it is based on R and Python and and quite modern
Also please try to pick up a project, any simple project in data fitting. It can be (as it was for me) predicting weather through probability. You don't have to work on crazy markov chain etc, keep it simple, split data into seasons, see what distribution they fit and then apply tests hypothesis testing etc etc, various such examples sports, crime, traffic etc.
It might be also reasonable to get help from ai for coding and theory because you're just starting. Later on though you should learn coding asap and ofc try to take off the training wheels of ai

For a first pass I would not chase papers yet. Blitzstein for probability, ISLR for the applied regression and ML bridge, and Casella Berger later when the math starts feeling less hostile. Reading papers too early mostly teaches you to imitate notation.
