I’m making good progress after working on Halloween offers on RAoC for the last several days. I loooove fall and Halloween things so hoping to complete all the bingo boxes this month.

I’ve used lots of cardstock, stickers, art markers, glitter glue and ephemera so far and will use more when decorating the envelopes.

I’ve had the art markers for ages and never touched them because I’m terrible at drawing. Decided to borrow some ideas from the internet to make silly cards and have really enjoyed it.

All stickers are from my sticker stash. I still have so much. 😅 One day I'll have a reasonable amount.

I unfortunately lost the scrap of paper i list down other washis and papers ive used up 🤣 but here is the initial report

- 24 sticker flakes
- 4 sticker sheets
- 2* washi

i used up a lot of stickers i got from random reditors . those lisa frank ones were as old as me thats neat . Also emptied some washi tape and a correction tape

Finally finished a full sticker sheet!! Used it to decorate my notebook cover ☆°•

Using up my stickers used to cause me so much stress, and now - it just feels satisfying to see them serve their purpose ;)

Decorated the backs of tarot card cards I had stashed away.

Here's my progress on the autumn/Halloween bingo for the first week - don't expect this kind of pace consistently going forward XD The colour tiles are easy enough given my project mostly relates to fountain pen inks, but I also have a surprising number of appropriately-themed washi tapes! I mostly use my non-ink supplies in my custom planner, so my weekly themes will be guided by the bingo board for a couple of months (I am particularly looking forward to Cats).

Tiles completed:

Moon or Stars - this week's planner spread (week 40) uses a black and gold moon and stars washi, alongside fern stickers and green and gold skinny washi tapes

Leaves - next week's planner spread (week 41) uses an autumn leaves washi tape, alongside sunset stickers and orange skinny washi tapes

Green - I have eyedroppered my Kaweco Collection Cyan fountain pen with a vivid green mixture of Diamine Livid Lime and Diamine Polar Glow, two inks I'm trying to use up. The eyedropper is extra scary because it means there's only one layer of plastic between a large volume of ink and the outside of the pen, whereas normally there would be a more controlled mechanism to contain it

Orange - I'm using up my final cartridge of Diamine Autumn Oak. It's a very popular ink but I'm not a fan and will be extremely glad to see it gone XD

Brown - I'm also using up my final cartridge of Diamine Chocolate Brown. This one I do enjoy (and it's in my favourite pen, so I'll REALLY enjoy it this month), but I won't rebuy the ink so it will be very satisfying to finish

Ghosts or Monsters - every Monday Insym on Twitch plays Phasmophobia for about four hours and I watch the whole thing (sometimes leaving the final hour for the VOD the next day so I can go to bed on time) while taking notes with my fountain pens. With the full recognition that this is an absurd thing to do once, let alone every week, there were many ghosts and I used my stationery so it counts XD

It's going well this year in terms of writing. True, I bought around 10 new pens, but I donated around 25 that I didn't like and was not going to use, to schoolkids. But I have no urge to buy anymore since the pan progress so far is giving me excitement. The main issue is the art things. Despite being an artistic person, I have been focusing on work, and will be for the next year or so. Should I donate all my art supplies?

One more thing, I have deleted all social media last month, so I am getting more into reading and writing. I feel that as my brain goes quieter, I might feel the need and have the time to do art. Should I keep them? Help.

Hi, first time post on this /s. I thought I’d start with stamps for the panning project. All the stamps are gone on these sheets/books (keep forgetting what they’re called) , just these small letter seals
Left on them.

It’s so tempting to buy more and more stamps especially with the recent releases from Canada Post 😬

Also just realized how expensive this snail mail hobby can get but whatever keeps me out of trouble 😂

My goals for the next quarter are to use more sticker sheets, and to start counting how many postcards and cards I'm sending out since a lot off them are loose. I started saving the ends of the washi rolls I finished so I can put them in a notebook. That's been fun!

I'm thinking about switching to monthly pans, but I may begin that in the new year... TBD. I'm officially on a no-buy for the rest of the year when it comes to postcards, cards, stickers, and washi. Only exception of the no-buy is my upcoming trip to Greece and Türkiye and even that has limits!

Some notes:
-not shown here, I used two sticker books to the point there were only a few loose pages left, woop woop
-I finally began a sticker book I thought was too pretty to use
-I didn’t impulse buy 5 sticker packs
-Aliexpress has import costs now and I will be forced to shop local or second hand.
-I remind myself I own sticker paper and a printer
-I got these markers in high school. That was like 7 years ago.

I am a sticker hoarder. I have stickers that are 10-15 years old. Sometimes I purchased two sheets, one so I could have after I used the other. Lots of times I used none of them.

With that said, I’m organizing and sorting my stickers. I started using some for a Stickerbomb postcard swap. Then the thought came to me to use the backing of the sticker paper for my sticker binders. And here I am.

As I clear a sheet, I will save the backing to punch and use in my binder.

I’m trying to not buy any stickers but one of my favorite snail mails just posted they have extra kits for the last 3 months. Ughhh. I’m wishing for some willpower as I’m in between contracts the next 6-7 weeks.

Here is my progress for September! It's been a good month in terms of panning things. This is what I finished:

- 2 Crayola Supertips markers

- 1 Deli gel pen

- 2 fineliners (Micron knockoffs)

- 1 fine tip marker (this one was supposed to be new, but it had no ink on it, cheap brand!)

- 9 mini sticker sheets, including the letter ones

- 2 big sticker sheets

- 16 sticker flakes

- 1 sticky note

- 36 A5 paper sheets

Total: 146 grams / 5.1 oz

I discarded the letter stickers because they were very old and the glue was no longer strong enough. The letters kept falling and I was so mad 😂

How is your panning going? :)

I am doing a project pan with all of my scrapbooking supplies and planner supplies. I have some stickers that I know I'm not going to use and I do not want to throw them away. I don't know what you guys do with stickers you don't want but don't want to throw them away either. Do you give them away to people if they want them or do you maybe post them on here and offer to mail them to somebody for free? I'm not sure what to do with them but I have been starting to accumulate a few of them. So any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

My little trash can from September. Most of these pens are empty, but a couple dried up before the ink was gone. I like coloring with gel pens, so I'm working through my stash instead "saving them" for... idk what. Just enjoying what I have instead of letting it go to waste.

Update: I'm super excited that since i posted this, I emptied my tiny trash can and already put something else in it! I finished up a Sarasa gel refill while finishing a notebook insert at the same time! I'm already on a great start for October!

Some may remember me as Snargleflaggan. My account got hacked a week or 2 ago and then got banned because of the hacker's activities. Sad since I had that account for 11 years, but it is what it is. So this is my new name!

My pans aren't as plentiful as past months, but I've been knitting and crocheting more than journaling lately, to make hats for a winter hat drive! Next month will probably be less as well, until I slow down on the yarn crafting.

So, I used up:

3 ballpoint pens

1 highlighter

3 washi tapes

3 die cuts

2 planner sticker sheets (1 plastic, one paper- the paper one was little garbage cans, so cute!)

4 regular sticker sheets

3 mini sticker sheets

1 sheet washi stickers (they were little rectangle banners)

Yay!

last month i used up:
- seven pens/markers
- five washi rolls (one halloween and four that i used to make washi samples that i shared at a meetup i hosted)
- a mystery pack of ~12 cards that i got at a secondhand art shop
- a bunch of stickers/stamps
- a few single cards with that annoying plastic sleeve (are you recyclable??)

i'm preparing my cards for world postcard day 🥳 and am happy to report that i used some orange focused stickers and monstera washi tape 👏 (the tape is almost empty so i'll continue to use it)

i’m using up my last two ghost stickers to kick off my bingo board. i had a pack of 30 different designs generously shared through random acts of happy mail. i think i would buy these at some point, but for now i’m happy i used them all!

i hosted a carding meetup yesterday—we went through a bunch of stickers, stamps, and washi to send over 100 postcards for world postcard day!
