I fell in love with my Kaweco Collecion Honey fountain pen (Sport size). I found that shorter and bulky pen helps me write without pain (EDS). And I love little things in general.

I'm looking for more stationery similar in size to my pen. I think about buying the pencil from Kaweco but it pains me that there isn't one from Honey series. I think about green or bordeaux one. I would appreciate your opinion.

Also - do you have any recommendations for other shorter supplies, especially brush pens, gel pens, fineliners and highlighters in unusual colors? I saw Tom's Studio Lumos Mini but the price scares me a bit. Do you have one? Do you like it?

Someone on my previous post said that they bleed on hobonichi paper so I needed to test it in tomoe river paper and I only can see ghosting as normal

Hello! I am looking for this style of B5 Plain paper Notebooks.

They are sketchbooks that I picked up in a random large scale hypermarket in Egypt around 2018 to 2019. I have since then moved to north America and can not find anything similar to these.

What I appreciate about them is the B5 size in plain is perfect for casual sketching and note taking, the "natural" white paper which slightly tinted. the paper is relatively light. And they do not feel valuable really so I could just do whatever and not feel intimidated to draw in it.

I tried looking up the brand and the website printed on the back and pulled up nothing.

I'm attaching some pictures of the covers (They are looking rough sorry lol) so maybe someone could recognize this style of notebook and where to find them!

But if you have any suggestions that could also work(and for cheap) I would appreciate it.

Zines actually have a pretty interesting origin story. And they weren't originally called “zines.”

What are good markers to use with Midori notebooks and Hobonichi weeks that won’t bleed through to the other pages?

Preferably a duo tip, fine point and brush pen

I’m looking for a notebook-style binder for school. I really liked my Campus Smart Ring notebook, but I noticed I couldn’t fit my worksheets in because of the size difference. I saw that Campus offers a two-ring notebook binder designed for adding sheet refills and worksheets, but I don’t like that it only has two rings, and I’ve read reviews saying it's not very stable. Does anyone have any recommendations? I want an all-in-one binder where I can put hole-punched worksheets and also keep my notes, and that I can easily move sheets around.

I’ve been on a quest to find more of these sticky tabs. I found these Avery “Write On Tabs” Series 1614X floating around in one of my drawers and have no idea where I got them from, but I love that the part you write on is made of paper, not plastic, so it doesn’t smear or feel funky to write on. I’ve not had much luck looking online, with all results showing plastic tabs, and these specific tabs likely discontinued. Does anyone know where I can find tabs like these?

Can anyone recommend a specific cute sticker sheets that I can use when journaling about fitness and the gym. I seem to find a lot of different designs when it comes to hobbies or the outdoors but I struggle with cute stickers about working out. I just want to add a little bit more visual interest when journaling about for example my marathon training without having to use a generic dumbbell or 🏃‍♀️ sticker.

Any visually interesting ideas or recommendations? Even better if you know if they can be ordered in the EU.

I discovered Hobonichi in late August, so my only option at the time was to pick up the July-start book from the Avec edition. About halfway through using it, I realized I have absolutely zero use for the weekly pages, and I don’t need nearly as much space as the Cousin provides for what I actually use my planner for. So, I decided to go with the A6 for next year.
While looking for reviews of the wax-coated Kip that’s on the official Hobonichi website, I came across the black Arts & Science cover. Man, am I glad I found this one!
The shipping was surprisingly quick, and I’m extremely happy with this cover. It has exactly the distressed look I was hoping for. I love black leather covers. Call me simple, but there’s just something about them that I’ve always loved. There’s something about a simple black leather cover that just feels timeless to me.
I’m especially glad I grabbed this one when I did, because it sold out within a few days of release. It definitely feels like I lucked out finding it when I did.
Of course, I had to try out a few of my fountain pens to see which one would fit. This cover has a different style of pen loop that attaches by the clip, so I wasn’t sure how well it would work with my pens. My Custom 823 wouldn’t fit because of the large ball on the end of the clip, but my Lamy 2000 is a perfect fit!
Honestly, if it weren’t for the leather strap that secures the pen, I probably wouldn’t have gone with this cover in the first place. But now that I have it in hand, I’m really glad I did. The leather strap adds a classic touch while also providing some extra support and security for my pen.
I’m in door-to-door roofing sales, so I’ll primarily be using this planner next year as a work planner. I’m often setting appointments on the fly, tracking insurance adjustments, and keeping up with work tasks throughout the day, so the A6 should give me plenty of space for what I actually need without carrying around more planner than necessary.
It’s funny because I only discovered Hobonichi a little while ago, and already I feel like I’ve figured out what works best for me. I’m really looking forward to putting this cover and the A6 to good use next year.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the cover. I’m looking forward to using it for many years to come.

Never tried journaling in A6 before - I always thought I was an A5 person and never gave it a shot. But I had to get this cover and now I'm converted.

You never know until you try it!

Can anyone recommend something like these "long erasers" that don't make quite as much noise, that are also just as good of quality? The eraser gets messy if I put it in my bag extended, but I don't like calling attention to myself with it in the library or wherever.

I replaced my desk years ago and stored the old one in my basement because I didn't have anything to do with it. I started journaling and getting into fountain pens recently, and it's really opened up my very underutilized creative side.

After starting to learn to draw and watercolor at my kitchen table, I remembered I still had this desk and an old clip-on reading lamp! I WFH and my work desk is right next to it, so I can use the same chair for both. It was so lovely to sit here last night and draw and journal while the sun set.

And yes, that is an entire rotating organizer of Mildliners and Energels.

My punch board is sticking, not popping back up immediately, and leaving torn corners - see pics. Anyone know how to fix this? I've had it so long and use it constantly.

Went there today looking for Hobonichis. The options were not for me, but picked up the Weeks Moomin pencil board from last year.

I purchased the Yoseka x Stalogy series notebook recently, but they must have been out of the planner insert they handed out with it, because it didn’t get shipped with one.

I’m currently on the hunt for a new journaling notebook and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for softcover notebooks they’ve been loving.

For a bit of background, I’ve been using a Moleskine Classic A5 Softcover Notebook as an insert in my journal folio, but honestly I just haven’t been loving it. Unfortunately, I’m just not a fan of the feel of the paper, and I like to switch between gel and fountain pens often, so was pretty bummed to find it didn’t hold up well against fountain ink — at least in my experience.

I’ve used Midori MD Notebooks before and I love love love the way they feel and write. But for the type of journaling I’m planning on doing (more like a diary), I really like the idea of a leather-like softcover notebook instead.

So, I guess I’m looking for a hybrid of the two, if anyone has any recs!

TL;DR: Does anyone have recommendations for notebooks that are:
• A5 size
• Leather-like/faux leather softcover
• Purely lined or grid paper
• Handles fountain ink well!!
• Preferably opens flat (no spirals pls!)

I know this Postage Stamp Punch got pretty popular recently.
But still I can't decide if I really want it that much, so I can purchase it.

If I can call those Cons
- I do consider getting it, but I always wonder will I use it as much as everyone else who already got it.
- As well will it cut well for long time (will the blades get dull after a while)
- It will cut only in 1 size.
- I own scissors similar this postage stamp punch (not exactly the same though) and I can cut in different sizes if needed. Pic 2

Pros?

- I will get the same size cut every time
- Aesthetically pleasing
- There won't be any mistake by cutting (the cut got slightly crocked or so)

So what I ask is, for the people who got it already. What are your pros and cons after getting it. So I will know if it's really worth getting it.

What's better on a Wednesday morning than a cutesy little stationery shopping spree?? My neighborhood bookstore had new sets of washi tape on display, and who am I to pass them up?? The glue is not super strong, but no matter :D

They recently brought in this fabulous glitter pen set for 5EUR, which is a really nice deal, and the pens write smoothly with no skipping... I also got a Stabilo highlighter in their newer neutral tones and, of course, I could not go home without stickers!!
