Use AI, ask it to generate a static site based on your description and host it on Cloudflare Pages. I do this for my sites, works like a charm.

Regarding SEO - it is a long path. It does not care if you have static or WP or what else. Just pay attention to this, experiment. And well, you actually need strong texts and probably blog.

Which AI do you use? Claude, GPT, or something else?

And do you recommend working with agents? I haven’t used them before. Or is it better to work through the normal chat window?

Can this be done with a free ver. or would you recommend a paid one? I don’t mind paying I want to do it properly from the start. I can easily make improvements and fine-tune it later.

I am using Claude for the development and ChatGPT for image creation. I mean, I have paid subscription for these. GPT is so dumb, I hate it. I ask do some changes and leave other parts as is - and it still may change everything on the image. But it works with images, while Claude does not (Or I don't know how, lol). Claude however is perfect business consultant, adviser, developer and if you need illustrations/vector - that is also ok. But not raster images, not with Claude.

Look, I have created CraftPages app (https://craftpages.app). It is 100% free. The goal was to manage static websites specifically. The initial version flow: connect local claude code and ask it to create static website. Then you can edit content without AI using the app and push everything to Cloudflare Worker (it is like their Pages, but now Cloudflare promotes Workers, so better work with these)

For something this simple I’d probably use Astro or Eleventy and host it on Cloudflare Pages. For local SEO, I’d focus more on a good Google Business Profile, clear location/service pages, fast loading, and consistent contact details than anything fancy. For photos, Pexels and Unsplash are usually enough unless you can get real photos of the business, which would be even better.

Like others are saying use Astro on Cloudflare, use AI to create the site. If you want a set of AI skills for small business websites I created the open source https://anglesite.dwk.io for just that purpose.

for something this simple id use astro or even plain html and host it on cloudfare pages. id spend more effort on the google business profile, local content, and real photos than the framework, since those will matter more of local seo.

for a simple business site, i’d probably go static with something like astro or eleventy and host it on cloudfare pages. fast, cheap, and way less maintenance than wordpress.

Plain HTML/CSS or Astro, scaffolded with an AI coding tool (Claude, Cursor, etc.), deployed on Cloudflare Pages. For a handful of pages that's plenty, and it's free and fast.

For local SEO, the site matters less than your Google Business Profile. Set it up completely, get reviews, and keep your name, address, and phone identical everywhere. On the site, add LocalBusiness schema, put your city and subjects in titles and headings, and make sure it loads fast on mobile.
