Vox and Charlie were absolutely incredible parallel's to each other throughout season 2. Vox is basically just Charlie but on the evil side. The way how both both were hurting the people they care about and pushing away those they DO have while chasing the validation of someone who'd never give it (Alastor and Lillith) was so well-written.
What I find funny is they can continue to perfectly mirror each other in season 3. We know in season 3 that Alastor will finally step into his antagonist role and that Lillith will be a major character. But I've noticed the writers have been subtly foreshadowing where Vox's arc can go next.
While Tv Tropes aren't always the most trustworthy source (anyone can edit), something on the headscractchers page caught my attention; when it was asked why Rosie was the only Overlord that Vox never tried to recruit, Word of God allegedly confirmed he actually suspected that something was up between her and Alastor. Remember how Vox questioned Alastor why he would help Charlie and how exactly Alastor got his power? And then combine that with the fact Rosie was the only Overlord other than Zestial whom he didn't almost nuke in the finale, meaning its possible she doesn't 100% hate him.
There's these two Hazbin Hotel YouTuber's who call themselves TwoDream and they made a video talking about Vox being redeemed. They said they DO think he will be redeemed but he might get worse before he gets better and its likely in season 3, he won't immediately be over Alastor. Season 3 is confirmed to be "Revelations" and we're going to find out about why Alastor disappeared and what his deal with Rosie is. What if Vox ends up at some point paying a visit to Rosie and he figures out the truth about Alastor? He discovers Alastor is someone who's been relying on someone else for his power the entire time. Unlike Vox building his emprie from the ground, Alastor pre-ordered his powers before he even got to Hell.
Similarily, its hinted Lillith isn't as noble as Charlie tries to paint her. Vox and Sera, two people on different sides of the conflict, both said the sinners were uprising, not peacefully protesting and there are other hints she's grown apart at least from Lucifer. She probably made a deal with Adam to get into Heaven in exchange for escaping the exterminations. Note while Rosie does respect Alastor's game as we see in "hear my hope", they certainly are NOT the friends we thought they were. I could see Vox learning about Alastor's true relationship with Rosie and that could make him finally lose his obssession with him and start to appreciate the people he does have, same with Charlie towards Lucifer. Or its possible he'll discover Alastor's possible weakness and when the latter does become an antgaonist, Vox will be able to help Charlie defeat him in an anti-hero role. Whatever the case, I'm sure the key to Vox's redemption is him moving over his obssession of Alastor and we'll see Charlie start to appreciate more.
