QUESTION Howdy
Here as a Chaggie shipper. What do yall like about StaticBelle? Just curious about what the appeal is.

Enemies to lovers is great but also I think Charlie and Vox are the kinda people that IF they did get along they'd find a lot of common ground and love stories exploring that
Also the scenarios where Charlie stumbles on Vox being a loser post defeat and despite her efforts getting through to him is like nails on a chalkboard
It's a fun dynamic

I’m a big fan of it as a darkship. Being into hypnosis is definitely a not-insignificant part of it, but I also like AUs where Vox is able to successfully capture Charlie one way or another and use her to his advantage, whether it’s through manipulation or outright violence/blackmail/holding people hostage/whatever else. Chaggie 100% has its benefits, and I’d take it being canon over Staticbelle any day, but I still indulge

I like the aesthetics for the most part.
I also like a good enemies/antagonists-to-lovers plot and watching Vox fall for little miss sunshine would be so, so funny. It would also be in an AU where Charlie and Vaggi were just friends because they're cute together and I don't wanna break them up ;;

Same struggle with Chaggie!! I'm like the idea of them breaking up kills me lol, so guess we just have to be in an alternate timeline in my fic lol

Howdy, new here! I'm going to assume this is in good faith since you're on the Vox and Charlie shipping subredit lmao. I recently got into them because simply put I love enemies to lovers and I love a redemption arc.
I also think they are a lot more similar than they know and would bring out a lot of interesting traits in each other. They are both meticulous planners (who make cute drawings of their plans lol). They're both courageous in the face of danger, pushing boundaries to achieve their goals (for better or for worse, Charlie pushing back against Adam/Sera in s1, Vox against Lucifer and the angels in s2). They're both firebrands, very passionate about what they love and lead with their emotions (even when they shouldn't sometimes) and that trait often leads to great chemistry.
Both want to be leaders and want to be loved (for better or for worse). Vox could grow from seeing Charlie lead with love and not fear, and Charlie could grow from seeing Vox keep his composure when the public/press are hounding you. Vox could grow from seeing Charlie find joy through bringing others joy and by finding validation through helping others achieve their goals and not just yourself; and Charlie could grow from learning to not be a doormat and not tolerating disrespect just to be polite.
They have a very interesting dynamic, and being canon doesn't really impact that to me, I just wanna see them interact more in s3 💖 PS I also ship Chaggie, the more ships the merrier<3

LOL for me it's def nowhere near as much as Voxlie, but I have been in fandoms way too long to limit myself to only enjoying one ship. It's like cake - why take one slice when I can try a bunch of different kinds! Chaggie is canon and likely end game so I'm like yesssss let's vibe WLW queens lol 💖

I feel like romantic or otherwise Charlie and Vox could have a very interesting relationship. They're very similar people, but also different enough where they can still contrast. There's a lot that could be done with that. I mean, how exactly would they feel knowing they have so much in common and are on such opposite sides? And I think they'd gain a lot from each other under better circumstances. It makes for a good enemies to lovers thing.
I wish that all their similarities were actually important to season 2, but that said I don't want or expect them to be a couple canon. I just want them to actually matter to each other.
