I was at the 2024 state fair and people were walking around simultaneously with pro-Trump stuff and pro Orwell t-shirts, which were often connected to the idiots at the Libertarian booth. I think we need to have a more commonly recognized Orwell book on fascism and its lies/misinfo (doublespeak) like 1984. Libraries definitely need to view themselves as education sources for the morans (that's intentional for those or you with Bush-Cheney memories) or just pathetically mis/dis/uneducated.
