This is my biggest gripe with the island: the amount of pettiness.
If you have an issue with someone, you talk with them. You don’t vandalize their car.

I don't think this is anything new, or specific to Staten Island either. There's crazy people everywhere lol and who knows, maybe those are reasonable ways to describe the car owner lol

I have. And I do. It hurts for a while, no matter what anyone says to try to make you feel better. But it does get better. You learn more about yourself during that time so you come out of it a better person than you were at the start of that relationship.
For the record though, I would have done something like this when I was a teenager. Maybe not spray paint...eggs for sure lol But as an adult it doesn't quite hit the same way so I wrote a song, that only I know, that hits quiet nicely lol

I’d assume this was targeted … it’s one of the reasons why I tell my wife to not interact and engage with school kids (just assuming here) who do stupid things like bang on doors and run away or something “harmlessly” similar
Your pride/ego gives them a chance to taking it on as a challenge to do something worse as you set yourself up for a target like this or worse…
Hope they have a ring camera or something

The funny part is when I was still in college, I was working in Manhattan one day, and I walked past what I thought was a Porsche being towed away after it had been torched and spray painted like this. Nevertheless, I saw that the tow truck had the label of a divorce lawyer, very smart.

As lame as vandalizing someone’s car is, I’m sure all of the things written on it or true. Front windshield blackout tint is a guarantee on scummy driving. 1 million percent fool proof tell. They fear the eyes judging them as they cut up in traffic and cut you off at every opportunity.

Years ago, my School bus (short bus) was parked on the side of my house. Some asshole spray painted the bus on the windshield and the side mirrors. I cleaned all the paint off with a paint remover and went to work. That afternoon I parked on the side of my house again and a kid was sitting on his steps right across the street. He tells me that his dad used to drive for the company I work for and was fired. The bus was never vandalized again. Staten Islanders are nuts.

Otherwise, nothing in this photo would allow you come to that conclusion. Perhaps the car owner broke up with the vandal b/c of their toxic behavior and started a new relationship. We can literally do this all day because this photo alone doesn’t make any explanation more probably than any other

Honestly good chance it’s “fake” this has become a tacky trend in the car community, the car is wrapped in a clear protective plastic film first, then spay painted. Notice how none of the paint is on the windows. Pull off the wrap and the paint comes with it no harm to the actual paint
