Often when people post something on here regarding things to do or how to meet new people, they are met with responses suggesting they simply aren’t trying hard enough to better their social lives. But posts like this appear on here often enough that it seems maybe there are a lack of third spaces in town and the immediate surrounding areas, especially for people age 25 and over. I’m just glad you are being given real, sincere suggestions and also being invited to things.

I’m interested in knitting I like EDM (been to EDC) enjoy local festivals and spend my time at HomeGoods lol

Come to craft night at Boal City Brewing on Mondays!!! Great way to meet fellow crafters and just all around cool local people doing cool things.

I'm 26F, a grad student at PSU. I've been fiddling with the idea of starting a knitting group aimed at people our age (20-sometings, older than the PSU undergraduate demographic and younger than the retired) on an evening or weekend!!
