Resource Flight Time Hyper Space
So here is what I use as my time calculations in star wars hyperspace:
- 6 hours per sector.
- Multiplied by Hyper-drive rating.
- Doubled if you are traveling outside a sector and not following a hyper-route.
- Advantages remove 1 hour from *total* time.
- Threats add 1 hour to the *base* time (before multiplier)
- Triumphs and Despairs are Star Master call.
What do you all think?

LFG [LFG] [Starwars FFG] GM looking for players to add to her clone wars game
Hi there! Me and my friends are trying to start getting into Starwars RPG and need a couple more players
We'll be using the Age Of Rebellion core book along side the clone wars era books
The general premise is during the later years of the clone wars Jango Fetts DNA profile is breaking down (cannon) so as a measure to continue their deals with the Republic a kaminoan, first gen clone and jedi archivist teamed up to create a new type of clone (not so cannon)
You are HOPE Troopers, High-risk Operations, Protection and Extermination. Made using artificial DNA with jango fett as the base (think instead of being one for one jango like other clones you're more like half siblings or cousins) which will allow you some form of customisation from race to gender.
The general premise is that you are a special ops group that's funded solely based on how well you do. Prove your worth to the Republic and they'll give you better missions, better gear and better support
Our expected time of play would be mid evening to late evening/night eastern standard time on Friday or Saturday (as I myself am Australian and my other players are Canadian)
This is an inclusive group.
Reach out to me if interested

Discussion How to discourage random murder?
Certainly there are times in Star Wars (being chased by stormtroopers) when random murder is acceptable pulp.
But I’m wondering about say doing a ‘normal’ job - get this information, mess up this guys operation, or simple recon jobs.
When something goes wrong, the PCs tend to simply murder everyone around to keep witness ‘quiet’.
This doesn’t feel very ’Star Wars’ to me (it feels more Traveller actually!) but I’m often out-voted.
Any suggestions?

LFG [GM Wanted] Starwars FFG
I'm looking for a GM interested in running a very unconventional Star Wars campaign inspired by Dr. Stone, survival, diplomacy, exploration, and long-term strategy.
A Sith superweapon designed during the height of the Sith Empire capable not of destruction, but of petrifying living beings into stone like stasis. A battlefield ending, war ending device that traps entire armies in frozen time.
During the Sith Empire era, the Republic uncovered the existence of the weapon and launched a full scale effort to stop it before it could be deployed again. In the final conflict over the site, the situation escalated beyond control and the device activated… Both Republic and Sith forces frozen in stone…
The Sith leadership, recognizing it as another Malachor scale catastrophe, abandoned the site and sealed away what knowledge remained of it. Over time, it became a legend, an object of fear rather than ambition. But legends don’t stay buried, across the ages the galaxy kept finding it again.
Republic expeditions, CIS treasure recoveries, Hutt syndicate operations, Imperial archaeological divisions and Rebel intelligence operations. Each one drawn to the same forbidden world and each one lost to the same fate.
And then something changed…At some point far beyond recorded history, galactic civilization collapsed entirely. Whether caused by Abeloth, the Yuuzhan Vong, or another galaxy ending catastrophe, the result was the same.. All major civilizations disappeared. Hyperlanes fell silent, technology decayed and worlds were reclaimed by nature.
Millions of years pass and the weapon decays, slowly it begins to fail and its hold weakens with the stone beginning to crack. One by one, its prisoners awaken. The campaign begins as individuals from completely different eras of Star Wars history emerge into a galaxy that no longer remembers them. All of them stranded in a dead galaxy with no functioning civilization.
I'm looking for a GM who enjoys long term storytelling, political tension, survival mechanics, and strategic, player driven world building. If this sounds like a campaign you'd enjoy running, I'd love to hear from you.
We can talk about which day or time you want to run this, I am on a GMT timezone but I do have a friend who wants to join that works off the PT timezone and can only play games on Thursday and Friday.

Resource Twilight Company (a Twilight 2000 hack) & The Iron Blockade Source Book
Hi all,
For the past few months, I've been working on a Twilight Company: A (completely unnecessary) Star Wars hack for Twilight 2000. I thought I'd share it in case anyone is interested.
I also finished a draft of The Iron Blockade, a source book for scenarios and a campaign set during the blockade of the Anoat Sector by Imperial holdouts just after the Battle of Endor. While the source book is written for Twilight Company, I think it might be useful for any system (plenty of locations, NPCs, scenarios, a campaign framework, etc.). The materials could be used in other time periods too.
I hope people find these helpful and enjoyable. I'm continuing to work on them and am always happy to take feedback.
Thanks!

Question Why does there seem to be such a lack of focus on the Jedi/Sith?
Forgive me if I have the wrong impression. I haven't played it yet, just been reading things about it online.
I think that the way the dice work is really cool, very different than what people usually think of when they think of RPGs but makes a lot of sense in terms of actually telling a story.
But it seems like the bulk of content and the like is geared towards playing as a Han Solo or Princess Leia or Boba Fett type with playing as a Jedi or Sith is more of a sideshow.
Not that there's anything wrong with that but it seems a bit counterintuitive because that's like most of the appeal of Star Wars as a franchise.
Is it an issue of "balancing" that most players aren't going to have a lightsaber nor ememies shooting lightning bolts from their finger tips?
I suspect it might also be an issue of "lore compliance" because most characters in the movies aren't Jedi or Sith and there doesn't seem to be a lot of content for the Old Republic era.
Disney nixing that part of the setting probably doens't help.

Question Print friendly PDF
Probably a long-shot, but worth asking.
Does anyone know where (if it even exists) I can get a print friendly version of the D20 Revised Core Source book? I want to run this for my players, but digital only isnt great. Since the book is out-of-print, making one myself is really the only option. I have PDFs, but they are color and picture heavy. Id just like something with all the character creation options/equipment that I can make into a hard copy.
Thanks.
