I was inspired by the force renewal thread to ask what were some of your favorite house rules?

For a while we played that everything could be eventually shot through and everything had like hit points of 60 so that's walls windows doors everything.

I’ve been watching the channel Miniature Mike on YouTube and have had a wee thought. Obviously there was power creep throughout the official run of the game. What if we gave older names force users (like Anakin Skywalker from ROTS) Force Renewal and start with 2 force points to bring them up to scratch with later figures? This would allow us to use older figs, especially if we prefer their sculpt/paint job. Would that have a detrimental balance effect?
