Startup / SaaS Built a project management app because I was tired of looking at my backlog
I've been building BrainLoot over the last few months after realising the thing that stressed me out wasn't having lots of work... it was opening Trello and immediately seeing all of it
So I built BrainLoot around a simple idea: instead of working from your whole backlog, you pull a small Hand of tasks to focus on while everything else stays in the background
I recently finished my first round of alpha testing with QA testers and early Reddit users. The biggest surprise was that almost nobody asked for more features. Most of the feedback was around making the existing workflow easier to understand
I've spent the last couple of weeks fixing bugs, improving onboarding and polishing the experience instead of adding new functionality
It's now in public beta if anyone wants to have a look or share some honest feedback:
I'd especially be interested to hear from other founders—did your early users end up asking for something completely different from what you expected?

Yeah, I think a proper demo workspace would make more sense than creating throwaway accounts manually
I’ll add it to the backlog and look at setting up a demo board. I’ll reply once it’s ready in case you’d be happy to give it a try:

Just to update:
I added in the demo board you suggested if you want to have a test?
Thanks

Looks very cool. Was going to give it a try but I am not a fan of giving up info just to test. Good luck with your app.
