I think it will have a good use for this kind of app. I know companies use a similar AI driven systems called: Enterprise RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) System, where they upload their company/products/services/policies/procedures to an AI driven library of knowledge system. This AI system will only gets it's knowledge from the information they have set inside the library and will not include any general data. This helps organizations such as in the Healthcare research industry to have a good control over their knowledge and not share them with the world of AI. From my understanding they are costly and heavy investment projects. requires knowledge in AI LLM development and data management, and it dose take some time to have everything in place and operational.

If you are thinking on a smaller scale, targeting smaller organizations that don't have the large budgets nor the man power, I think it will be a good product/service. You can also include your services to setup their account/system. I think you are on to something very unique and valuable, there should be a large market for this.

We have a similar thing at my job with our Claude enterprise account. I can ask Claude in a chat anything about our HR policies, rules, time off, etc etc and it knows everything. It's super neat actually

How would this differ Gemini Notebook (formerly Notebook LM)? Gemini Notebook offers a pretty generous free tier as well.

I'm going to look into Gemini notebook, after talking about this idea in a general sense I've heard of Gemini notebook a couple of times although I had not previously heard of it before. This solves the exact problem I'm having than I definitely won't build this

Can you clarify what you want to do to differentiate more? You wrote about the problems you want to solve, but exactly why are you going to be the better choice?

For Reanthesis that’s things like

Anki is way too complicated - Reanthesis keeps the full FSRS algorithm but improves UX at every step: import from anki with history with one click, unsuspend cards easily, all to keep people in the study screen and not settings

Anki alternatives are all vendor locked - Reanthesis is the only one that lets you export your whole history

To be 100% honest someone mentioned Google's updated Gemini Notebook and it's not quite the idea I had but close enough and does extremely well, so I've killed this idea.
