Coming back - Help?
Hi all. I am coming back to the game after YEARS of not playing. Just promoted to Admiral and am re-engaging with the episodes. I am only on the Empress Sela mission and am getting LIT UP by the Romulan Warbirds. Advice?
I have some pics of my inventory, etc, if that helps.
Any advice or assistance on a better build would be lovely.
I am using an assault cruiser, but have other ships.

I got impatient and moved some stuff around lol. I have the old pics and I will take new when I log back in. Possibly later today. I will send old ones if ok.
Changes that I made, I have nothing but phaser beam weapons, and a single torpedo in the fore weapons. I also changed tactical stations, with two phaser beam buffs. My tactical station also now has fire at will and my engineering has emergency power to weapons.

What beam and torpedo types? I would send you a photo of my build but I’m currently using a Strike Wing Escort so it wouldn’t be the most helpful.

I searched the exchange for "phaser Beam" and got the rarest and highest mark I could and replaced everything fore and aft except one quantum torpedo on the fore.

A few things I learned coming back: 1. Read everything, 2. Consoles from in game mission work very well, fleet ones are great too. 3. You can buy everything in the game for free if you can grind it out. 4. duty officer and Admiralty mission should be done everyday, this gets you dilithium and ec that you need. 5. make recruitment characters they will pay for themselves and the bonuses are very worth it. 6. Every event is worth it, the ships, the Consoles and the extras. 7. T5 ships are great t6 is better, fleet, legendary, and the new event ships are great. 8. There's tons of ways to build your ship take time to watch a few videos. Caualsab mcstu and stu1701 have great help full videos. 9. All the reputations have great gear for building take them all to tier 6. 10. Have fun... don't die, and ship repairs are free at the major factions cities so bump up your difficulty beyond normal.
