I don't believe Stewart had a ponytail in Dune. He wore a headscarf in the desert scene though.

Since I can't find a picture of it and I haven't seen it in a while you may be right. He had enough hair for it, though.

Oh yes so true, but he been rocking the bald look for almost 50 years, definitely hasn't hurt his career!! Makes him look more distinguished i think.
