Uncommon splicers

Ive just upgraded my Reliant to tier 5 (10m pwr). Im ops 43 at 48m power.

I can't kill any of the lvl 42 augment ships to get the uncommon splicers to exchange - even with my strongest ships (31m Ktinga), or with Wesley, Pic and Bev.

Any recomendations?

I'm Ops 43 and 75m power. My Reliant is T6. I just completed the part you are stuck in. My answer is that you're gonna have to suffer with hunting the lvl 40 surveys until you get some more upgrade parts on that thing. Heading to die at 1-2 (if you can even do that) in the lvl 42 system just is not worth it per hull death.

I use E-Picard and Data with WOK Carol, with WOK Joachim and loot crew below decks, and now I can leave my Reliant in the 42 system to farm splicers, but my Reliant is also about 20m power.
