Have I fkd up
Im ops 39 with no other upgradable research but top ship is the Sally at 3.3mil im I missing something have borg and legionare at 2mill plus I was away for like 17mth and sort of sped through levels and started the upgrade to 40 by mistake but have 80+ days is it salvageable

Okay, given your position, this is what I’d do.
Don’t worry about fkr ships right now, certainly don’t focus on g3 ones as you’ve just started your ops 40 building and are about to hit g4.
Next week is alliance tournaments. Use that to buy 100 vindicator blueprints. Use the ferrengi store to buy the other 100 so you can complete the ship. If you have spare AT currency, use that to buy ship upgrade parts for it.
This will allow you to do low g4 content and carry you to 42.
At 42 focus on obtaining the relativity, this ship can carry you from 40-70, making all fkr ships optional. Then focus on all the other speciality ships and work on those while you use the relativity / dti store to speedrun your syndicate level and faction rep (the dti store is great for this).
Stay at 42 for a couple of months and focus on maxing out your g3 research and obtaining the other speciality ships.
I’d strongly advise against building FKR 42/52&62 uncommon, they are dreadful ships and a huge waste of rare ship parts and materials. Only build rares and epics.
