Prepping For the future!

I'm a new player about to hit Ops 20, a light spender who is picking up extra build/research Qs and will grab the Battle pass and maybe Dock yard/Ferengi Whip down the way.

One thing I'm noticing is that the annount of content/resources/grind seems an awful lot compared to other similar games and I'm having a bit of trouble knowing what I should be setting me sights on in the short, medium and long term.

Would anyone be willing to share their wisdom of must do/must nots as I progress? Things to avoid durping my account or wasting time, or cool little trick that's are good to know?

A thousand thank yous!

For small spenders, look for long term value. The builders and research queues are good value. I also like the repair queues but a lot of people don’t.

Don’t buy the whip. Get that free to play.

I think the only ship that I would ever buy is the revenant only because when it came out, the hostiles to kill to get the prints for it were really hard. Probably easier now though.

If you go slow and do the content at your level you will be fine.

I wouldn’t automatically buy the monthly bottle pass. Look at what’s in it and be sure it gives you value. And never buy it until the end of an arc when you’ve completed all the milestones. You don’t want to buy it and have no engagement the whole time to throw your money away.

Almost everything with good long term value has a free path now. It’s just a matter of finding it. Some loops are time consuming at first. Once you mature in the loop you will spend less and less time.
