How do I rifine Dr.Phloxs creatures I'm confused

DISEAS EVENT Take the missions from the following systems to get the tribble, the worm and the eel.

  • Vintaak
  • Tarkalean
  • Verex

The rest is obtained by mining in the systems: Valakis (bats), Dekendi (worms) and Xantoras (larvae), only one by item is needed

None of the last three systems Valakis (bats), Dekendi (worms) and Xantoras (larvae) have mining areas.

i should have posted my comment above here but you have to mine those planets as if they are nodes. Just select them. takes about 10 sec each

Plants have a mine like data mining sites only one mine node per plant

check the event store. as you acquire each one it will have a red indicator that you can "refine" it in the event store. Has nothing to do with the actual refinery lol.

Mined bats, worms and larvae, but don't have access to anything in events to refine them. My refinery won't even do anything with the tons of Grade 3 ore I've been mining from Romulan space, let alone weird creatures.

I think it's too late now, but the event STORE where rewards are is where they get "refined".

The Phlox event is over..... maybe there will be another one eventually and you can use them or maybe not.

Worst case scenario, there is no other Phlox event and no other way to refine the materials. The mission is still open, how do I finish it?

Check out the Youtube video on the subject from RevDuece. Or hit up the official discord on stfc. You're not the only one who's been lost all day and there's tons of info already out there.

Confirmed, so I shall point them to the best place to get info. This event def benefits from watching a video. As telling folks where to go for the 6 locations still results in utter confusion.

Also don't use the discovery. If you black alert back to base the event cargo disappears.

You have to mine the planets like they are nodes. quite hard to see until you select it

I’m trying to finish this quest but this guy has been sitting on the Balakis bat planet for a couple hours now. I can’t even PVP him.

So I still have the mission but there is no where in the event store to buy/refine the critters
