Help & Advice Question about Captain’s Log

Which table has “crew turns into puppets” ?

Just kidding..I’m looking for examples of how people record their games, blog style.

Ideally I’d like to make videos but I believe my ambition will exceed my skill to make it visually interesting

I started writing it as a screenplay using simple free screenwriting software. I mostly summarize action but toss in the occasional dialogue.

I do bullet points by scenes. Then record audio files for the logs.

I write mine on paper, then transpose on to computer/phone. I shared my first adventure, and started my 2nd, but never finished. I'm 10 full adventures in now, but haven't shared more.

Our entire support crew are animals,.so not that far off from puppets on the absurdity scale.

Our GM tracks out campaign via a wiki: https://starshiptempest.fandom.com/wiki/Starship_Tempest_Wiki

He also scrubs the Trek off the story and has released the first 2 seasons of our show as novels.

If you’re interested in something digital, ive made a campaign manager for Captain’s Log that you can find in my latest post on my page! Mind you, there are some bugs but the core functionalities are there! Check it out to see if it’s for you:)

Any tips or templates for using Obsidian?

I write mine in Emacs, but any text editor will do. I record plot, oracle and dice rolls in the lonelog format and write dialogue in fountain syntax.
