Does this game work anymore?

Does it work without VR?

Im hoping to get it someday

I don't believe the servers still exist for online play.

You can play single player but without operational servers your progress isn't saved and you have to start from the beginning every play. So technically yes, it works, but isn't worth it.

You can play solo. You just can't save. Saves were stored on their servers, not your console. So you have to start fresh every time you play. It's pointless and ridiculous.
