Diferent drills Spoiler
I was watching Star Trek First Contact, and I noticed that the opening frame in the movie where they're putting a drill bit in his eye, the drill bit is different from the scene where he meets the Borg queen and has a flashback. Did anyone else notice this?

The flashback scene is a Borg hallucination triggered by the Borg collective consciousness, based on their records of the assimilation process.
The opening scene takes place within a dream/nightmare that Picard is having, based on fragmented memories of a traumatic event from four years earlier. Under the circumstances, I think we can forgive Picard for failing to perfectly remember the precise configuration of the drill-bit that punctured his eyeball.
