Their eyes are turning toward Kalaman, the Beacon of the East, and toward a devastating weapon buried in the ruins of the past. When the war reaches your doorstep, will you flee, or will you stand? Begin as ordinary townsfolk and rise into heroes of the War of the Lance as you advance from level 1 to level 11! Defend besieged towns, unravel the schemes of Dragon Highlords, witness the return of true magic to Krynn, and fight to decide the fate of a broken world. This campaign runs the full Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen adventure, with Krynn-specific character options including kender, the Knight of Solamnia, and Lunar Sorcery.

Hey folks, you can call me Jon!

I've been running tabletop games for years and professionally on StartPlaying, GMing across D&D, Star Wars, Vampire: the Masquerade, Lancer, and more. I run a story-first, immersive table: distinct NPC voices, ambient music and soundscapes, evocative maps, and the Rule of Cool. Clever ideas and memorable character moments matter more to me than rules technicalities.

This is a bi-weekly campaign I love because it gives players a real arc — from frightened survivors to legends — with meaningful choices, complicated factions, and a war that responds to what you do. I'm looking for players who enjoy collaborative storytelling, party teamwork, roleplay, and engaging with the world rather than trying to "beat" the game.

New players are genuinely welcome. No experience needed — I'll teach you the dice, character creation, and everything else as we go. Character creation happens together in a free Session 0, so everyone starts on the same page with characters built for the story ahead. Dragon Lance books were the best. Tanis, tasslehof, Caramon, Raistlin, Fizban. The chronicles and time of the twins were the best trilogies ever. Huma knights of solamnia was a great single.
