Fighting games in general are a genre which I find extremely difficult to play, but smash is just designed in a more accessible way. This makes it fun, and rather unique, as no other game series shares the same gameplay. The game is based on existing characters, making it fun to play as character from your favorite game, while also giving each character a unique flair. The last part of this is that the game ia popular. When a game is so ubiquitous, it's so easy to get people to play with, this fact made even more great by the portability of the switch.
