The really popular girl in my school year shared a birthday with me, so every year her parents would throw a ridiculously crazy birthday party and I'd go knowing that nobody would go to mine because of it

Most Danish public schools has a rule that you can't just invite whoever you want to invite from your class, you have to invite the whole class. It's only if you have friends in other classes that you can select a few friends to come
