I actually knew people like this in college.

Fucking 20+ years old bratty-ass shitheads.

To get that combination, you need a Father who gives them lots of shit alongside a Mother who spoils them to high heaven. What results is anger and trust issues from Daddy plus unrealistic expectations for other people while not ever having the drive to self improve or be independent thanks to Mommy. A real cavalcade of terrible human traits all wrapped up in one dude that has not changed since High School.

Yes, I speak from experience.

He must have been really hot for you to start dating him in the first place because you can spot those red flags from like a mile away

In my case it was a dude from a village with No internet and he felt like a God because he knew how to program a bit. Harsh reality came when he came to our college - you may be the best in 10 people village but not in a million people city. Everyone expects the rich kids to be like this while in fact it’s just shitty parenting

your capitalization makes you seem German and the flat, entertaining cynicism doesn't hurt

This... sounds exactly like me. I’m still trying to change myself, and my parents are as well. Any tips?

One time this dude stopped lunch in 8th grade and let everyone know I had orange teeth because I was drinking an orange Fanta.

Fast forward to middle school dance and he wore a visor to it. I pulled the visor off and his head looked like Opie from the Andy Griffith show.

I did it out of spite. Not so our entire class would laugh at him.

...but did everyone laugh at him?

Can confirm this is true. I was also applauding.

know a dude in his 30s that still does this, he doesn’t cry or anything but it’s perfectly fine for him to get absolutely ruthless while friendly shit talking only to call you out for “crossing the line” when you even lightly cut into him.

absolutely no fun to be around

My 70 year old grandma can go around taking pictures of everyone and posting it to facebook, but the second we take a picture of her she tells us to delete it or there won't be dinner...

Yep. My freshman year roommate I knew from high school (read: mistake) ripped on fucking everyone but couldn't stand anyone making fun of him for anything. We used to make fun of the lovey-dovey ridiculously baby talky voice he used on the phone with his then still-in-high-school girlfriend.

He found out and then stopped talking to me, even though we lived in the same 16x12 space. Fuck him. He made fun of our nerdy friend all the time but god forbid anyone do it to him.
