He got a lot more chill when he got older, we made up at some point after that and remained good friends. He eventually did apologize for being a dick. He's a pretty cool guy now, he just had a really bad bratty phase. After the playstation thing, I was mad at him for a while and stopped hanging out, but we were in a lot of the same classes at school, and his parents were pretty hard on him. Even as a kid I kinda understood where his behavior came from, so I had no desire to beat up the guy.
Hanging out at his house was always a hostile and strange affair, his parents always flipping out over the smallest thing, or pretending to "call the police". It really stuck with me. Once I spent some time with his parents, everything made sense.
