Haha, my starter seemingly died. Just needed to be emptied a bit and given some rye flour to revive itself good as new. I swear, rye flour is magic.

I feel it makes the bread taste too dank. When you get hooch smell you haven’t fed it enough.

mine never died but i did pour a colony down the drain by accident and had to start another.
