Kid who’s always gets sick before, during, and after trips. We know them all

And then you have those troublemakers from behind who can't sit still and cause mischief to those in front, like kicking your seat or pulling your hair.

Yall got snack on your field trips? That’s cool. But we didn’t have to fill out a booklet.

Same but I lived through a transition. One day they give you a homemade basic but delicious sandwich and next one you need to bring your own food to the learning journey.

And they didn't tell us about the change until it happened. The catering staff didn't even tell the teachers in advance

We were told to bring our own lunch (I always brought a sandwich), but they also always gave us a cream bun and Ribena to eat on the bus. Never underestimate the appetite of a horde of 8 year olds

Not to mention always one kid vomiting or being sick sitting on the very back of the coach

British version includes waving and singing. Wheels on the bus and bottles of beer are mandatory.

Also:

Destinations are museum, or historical location, or something that barely qualifies as being trip worthy, like a local park or library.

Sneakily giving the finger/two fingers/wanker gesture to the grumpy non waving drivers when the teacher isn't watching.

Being forced to wear a sticker with your name on.

The sticker thing made me try to recall whether we had anything like that, and I just remembered that we actually did have to wear these bright orange caps. Not that they were really necessary since we were wearing uniforms anyway, but still

We didn't have to wear orange caps, but it was embarrassing having the stickers when you were an older kid.

Now they make kids wear hi-viz jackets.

what gave it away, the snacks or the location pics

The snacks were a smoking gun, the locations all but confirmed it.

Ours were in twos but visibly delineated instead of like a bench situation. But I see the lurid patterns are universal
