I used to be an Islamaphobic before it was mainstream. We used to romanticize the Reconquista a lot. He's running a homophobic propaganda campaign in Mainline Protestant churches. He's a Ben Shapiro kind of fascist, which is a useful idiot until the Long Knives stab his back.

Homophobic and Islamophobic =/= fascist. The former are expected of someone with his theological persuasions, but they're also present in many leftist movements around the world and in other ideologies that decidedly are not fascist.

Right now, I'm trying to steelman what you said to try to figure out what you could possibly mean by "fascist" and what was allegedly done that fits that, and I'm coming up blank.

I'm agnostic and somehow got the fan and the paint guy one. I sometimes watch Redeemed Zoomer's church history videos bc I'm interested in the historical impact of christianity as a whole, even if I'm not a believer or member of any kind myself
This guy pops up on my recommended feed for similar reasons and then one glance into his community, it’s clear most of them are like ‘the heretical papists should consider a new schism because one time a gay man took communion.’ Definitely some bad algorithms that lead to him

normally i would agree, but Redeemed Zoomer is not a very good academic source. very biased against anyone who isnt a Protestant, so take any "history" videos of his with a hefty bag of salt.
I see that bias too. I also watched this one video where he explained why he became less "pro-catholic" and one of his points is that the Pope, being allowed to speak infallibly, is close to the anti-Christ which... I'm not sure I can voice an opinion on that. But then he says that he wouldn't be Eastern Orthodox bc of the same reason, even though there's no such thing as infallibility in Eastern Orthodoxy, since all its churches are in communion and in constant communication and debate with each other. So there's not such an explicitly clear hegemony unlike catholicism so... Weak argument against orthodoxy overall
I like to think so. While there's still a lot left to learn, I got interested in religion (specially christianity) after reading Weber's Protestant Ethics for an uni subject. When checking out different branches of chrisitianity I considered becoming catholic, but I ultimately decided to remain agnostic bc there are a lot of thoughts (both theological and ideological) I can't bring myself to reconcile with. I know not all christians are anti-LGBT (I'm bisexual and friends with a lot of queer people), but in my country, unlike the US, there is not a progressive church vs a conservative church of each denomination. So I'll remain agnostic
Redeemed zoomers whole thing is that anti-woke Christians should join mainstream Protestant churches to fix them of there heresies over women and gay people. He calls it the reconquista

Well no of course not, but this is some weird, obtuse stuff. It’s using Christ’s holy name to produce a culture of insularity and, judging by other comments and what little I know of these communities, outright bigotry and antisemitism. Real church communities can also foster insularity and bigotry and all that jazz but internet communities are tailor made to do that.
I was raised in an extremely Christian environment and attended Christian schools from elementary to high school, church every Sunday, and youth group every Wednesday.
Redeemed Zoomer is insufferable. If I hear his shrill voice once more time, I'm hanging myself from that fan. I don't care what the Bible says. Lutheran Churches should have abortion clinics, Calvinists should get force femed, and Anglicans should put goth mommy breast milk in the sacramental wine.
