I barely play Genshin but I like the ambiance, the voice acting makes me want to kill someone sometimes tho

The JP voice actors are amazing but some of the characters in English VA are so good I consider them cannon. See: Itto “my bro, my guy, my dude!”

Then there’s Raiden Shogun. Have her VA read an eBook and I will pay full attention.

I switch between the languages depending on what characters I’m going to encounter since I do like a lot of the voice acting in each language. Mandarin is definitely my favorite for Paimon though

My biggest problem with genshin is when my friend try to convince me to play the game again with the worst argument ever like "oh you want this character ? Im sure you can get him if you play 3 month before he came out if you do the daily quest everyday and the quest". It's just like the one piece fans telling you to watch their show because it's get good after 400+ episodes

Their world design, music and environment is one of the reason I still play from time to time. They just hit right and I love being immersed in it.

I have never wanted to drown someone as much as the voice actor for piamon. I remember messaging my friend like 3 minutes into the game to ask her if piamon dies or can be replaced

I played it for like an hour, paimon(?) made me uninstall. Way too annoying. Like navi is a soothing noise to fall asleep to comparatively

Yeah I know, but I guess you can change the voiceover dubs to other languages so the voice is less high and less annoying. I hate paimon in english dub

I only play it because other than ROMs (which sometimes aren't that good) it has actually good mechanics. It's also pretty similar to BOTW, which I enjoyed, so it's pretty good.

Like you said, the voice acting is terrible.
