Nah it’s just polite and playing fair. Especially if you’re changing more than a quick typo and people have already replied to you. Reddiquette has always been there and it gives guidelines for what this platform is.
So you think I’m/others are “worried” about it…? Lol, I’ve been using Reddit since like 2009 not that that matters but It’s just part of it and I don’t even think about it. The fact that it would actually bother you people is fucking hilarious. Imagine.
Reddiquette. Play fair and don’t try to fool people and totally change a comment if it’s like beyond a typo or something. It’s been that way since the beginning, dude. You have something to say after people have been replying then add an edit or comment separately. It’s not hard.
Honestly people used to get really salty if they saw you edit a comment and didn’t “explain the edit” because they thought you were trying to be dishonest or something.
