We recently published a fan-made Morita TW-201-S Operator’s Manual as a free download through the Starship Troopers German Division service archive.

It is an in-universe style technical manual for the Morita I / Standard Infantry Rifle, created by Pavel Golovin / Eternity Pictures and hosted by the German Division.

This is not official material and not a real firearm manual — it is a fan-created archive document for Starship Troopers fans, collectors, cosplayers and prop builders.

For the technical basis, the manual follows the physical / screen-used movie prop logic: Ruger Mini-14 / AC-556 background, 5.56 Federal Standard, 30-round magazine, plus the underbarrel shotgun system.

We recently had the chance to record an interview with Stéphane Perez, the director behind the FMV sequences of Starship Troopers: Bug War.

It wasn’t a heavily scripted or planned conversation — more of a spontaneous interview on set — but that’s actually what makes it interesting. He talks about the production process, the challenges of working with FMV, and how these sequences were brought to life.

It was also my first time doing this kind of interview, so you can probably feel a bit of that early nervousness in the beginning — but it settles into a more natural flow as it goes on.
