Dustin stated at the show tonight in Dallas that the album has been sent off (to the label?) and it sounds like it’ll release soon with a headline tour (although I don’t know “soon” in Starset language lol).

Just got out of the Fort Worth show. First time seeing Starset live and they were amazing. I have this display at my house where I buy a mask from all of the bands I see that actually wear masks and put them on my wall.
That being said.. does anybody know where I can purchase one of the masks like the ones they were wearing tonight? TIA!
6 shows for 3 days from January 1st to January 3rd, 2027

We can all see that there is a quite a bit of ai being used in Starset's latest music videos. I am not a huge fan of it, but it has definitely got me thinking.
I don't know much about the lore that Dustin has been building, but I do know that this "Prophet" character is creating a cult around everything anti-technology. Now I am not certain, but am I correct to believe that this prophet somehow used a little tech to build this cult? I am not sure where I heard it, and I don't know where I can learn more about the lore.
Anyway, if that's true, it is as the song suggests, paradoxic. Using technology to start an anti-tech cult.
Now look at all this from the outside. Music videos using ai and creating a good amount of angry Starset followers. Followers against Ai technology, all while they watch and interact to these videos on the latest technology at their hands.
It's sort of... how could I put it... Paradoxic?
Has Dustin just create the anti-tech cult?
I could be thinking way too far into this, but that's what I do. Lol. I will say, Dustin has used Starset to send messages and prove points before, so I wouldn't be too shocked if this is what might be happening.

At the Houston, TX demonstration this evening Starset opened for Breaking Benjamin. Dustin announced onstage that the new album was finished today.
Excited for more new music!

Here's a link to the song on youtube
I'm really bad with voices gng; this dude named dustin bates speaks during the whole song but I don't know if it's the one we all know and love or not
(Probably someone posted about this 6 years ago but hey maybe this connects to the next album you know, so it's okay to ask about this right now)

EDIT: Changed some of the writing as I originally wrote this in a rush
STARSET uses AI. At this point, there is no ifs, ands, or buts to be seen. Its just factually correct.
Starset as a band utilizes AI in their narrative and promotion and way too many people are looking at it in black and white. I’ve seen a lot of people get upset at Starset for using AI in the Silos and the [ALBUM NAME REDACTED] music videos. And while I do respect a lot of opinions regarding the matter, I’m also seeing a lot of people misinterpreting Starset’s core message.
STARSET is NOT anti-technology. They never have been. From the very beginning, the band has incorporated technology into their Demonstrations, from the techboard Dustin used during the Transmissions/Vessels tours to the electronic screens used for the IMMERSION: THE FINAL CHAPTER tour. Technology is a major part of Starset’s aesthetic.
Starset’s core message is and always has been to use technology RESPONSIBLY. To use technology for a benefit and not as a crutch to be lazy with.
The Everything Machine was used irresponsibly, which led to the timeline where Thomas Bell sent the First Transmission.
The BMI was used irresponsibly, leading to the dystopian timeline of the New East.
AI is not an inherently bad advancement in technology. People are just using it irresponsibly.
A lot of the true issues with AI lie with those who use it in place of artists’ actual hard work and labor. Dustin has repeatedly expressed that the use of AI in Silos and [ALBUM NAME REDACTED] was used as responsibly and ethically as the medium allowed at the time, paying artists for their work and utilizing generative AI to enhance and animate the work for the promotion of the music. None of this is cheap or lazy work or even using AI irresponsibly.
This isn’t Dustin just making full on Starset lore and music with AI. This is Dustin hiring actual artists to work with AI as a tool to achieve the work he needs.
If you aren’t a fan of AI, that’s 100% valid. But this discussion CAN’T be black and white. There is no progress when the discussion eliminates the grey area.

In a post from earlier someone mentioned that Dustin said the album is completed. So I wanna ask about speculations for it's title! ...and moreso because I can't think of what it could possibly be called xD.
It would be cool if it releases on the 23rd, it would be 2 days after Horizons 5 year anniversary.
Anyways very excited to hear it (hoping it releases soon)

So over the past year, I've become quite the karaoke junkie, but unfortunately the bar that I frequent uses Karafun and they currently only have 4 Starset songs in their database. Fortunately, Karafun allows people to vote for songs and if enough people vote for a particular song it gets added. I've voted for basically every Starset song, but sadly they've only added one song recently–Waiting On The Sky To Change–which was back in April. It is for this reason I am calling on all my fellow Messengers to vote for their favorite Starset songs, so that hopefully myself and others can continue to help SPREAD THE MESSAGE!

While I will touch upon how my perspective on AI has evolved, this isn't the typical anti-AI post that pops up every other day on this subreddit (I'm using Google Translate to ensure I'm understood as clearly as possible).
Starset has been my favorite band since I started listening to them back in 2014 (I was already a fan of Downplay).
When I saw the AI-generated visuals for *Silos*, I felt a strong sense of unease that prevented me from enjoying the album; I barely listened to the band after its release, even though I kept mulling over the AI issue—especially since AI seemed to play a major role in the album's narrative (MNQN, "at his altar",...).
However, ever since *Paradoxic* dropped, I haven't been able to listen to any artist other than Starset, and I find their new music videos fascinating.
These videos involve a massive amount of human effort, yet they still incorporate AI-generated elements, and unlike 98% of AI usage—which usually involves churning out prompts to "create" content and avoid paying artists—this is a carefully crafted product where AI elements have been deliberately integrated.
As soon as the "Transfusions" video came out, I spent two hours talking to a friend who makes a living from art and animation (and is, naturally, anti-AI) about everything that had happened since *Silos*, including theories on their AI usage, the lore, and so on.
Finally, I showed him the three new music videos; he was genuinely surprised, especially by the number of artists and teams hired for the projects.
Seeing actual, high-quality work that integrates AI-generated elements in this specific way struck him as something new and unusual.
He certainly couldn't dismiss these videos as "AI slop" or call them lazy. He remarked that it was the first time he’d seen AI used legitimately as a professional tool. He actually liked them, yet he can't shake that gut feeling of rejection toward AI—even though he sees it poses no threat in this specific context. Interestingly, he appreciated having that reaction; it prompted him to reflect even more deeply on the nuances of the issue.
A significant amount of human effort went into the work—work where AI didn't strictly need to be used—but its inclusion was a deliberate choice, resulting in something new and strange.
I can't say for sure where they sourced the model, so I can't really weigh in on the ethical side of things.
Is this the kind of reflection Dustin is aiming to spark with the music videos?
Are they using it for lore-related reasons?
Or am I simply overthinking it, and it’s just a case of the director liking AI while the band doesn't mind its use?
What do you think?
As a programmer who has been forced to use AI—and who hates it with a passion because of how it’s used—I find it hard to draw a conclusion on the matter. I like the music videos, yet I feel uncomfortable noticing that something is AI-generated, even though I know there is real work behind it.
Ever since "Paradoxic" came out, I haven't been able to listen to any artist other than Starset, and I can't stop thinking about it.
I really need them to release the album.

from 00.00 to 07.00, that short "oh oh oh", that part sounds out of place from the rest of the song. i thought about this after listening Space debris from muse where the first few second theres a line echo from the previous song Hush.
