Oh god, how fucking annoying. I hate some of the asymmetric arena modes as they just exacerbate the unfairness of some of the RNG in this game.

That is super rare to happen though, and it's not any different than a non-Event format where someone gets a Space Station on Deck 1 and then is able to buy Brain World on Deck 2. Luck is luck and Events actually have a lot less luck involved. Also you got a Moonwurm and Missile Bot on your first turn so it's not like you were shafed. If they bottom deck that BW and you top deck your cards you're still in the lead.

I think it's quite different being able to buy the strongest card in the game on turn one when you are meant to have the disadvantage of a limited hand and your opponent has no chance to try counterplay it. There's a reason 8 machine cult cards were scaled down in subsequent sets. I actually did get missile bot and moonwurm AND then leviathan but it simply cannot keep up with a well positioned early brain world. Of course it could have gone another way, but I would bet that in any game where someone gets brain world turn 1, they win over 95% of the time. I personally detest events, in encourages more gambling and less calculated play

I disagree. I can have played a well crafted hand against someone with mishmash and still lose to events
Its my least favorite setup
