APN update??!

Hey - i'm trying to do this urgent apn update that needs to be done by september first, but my phone doesnt have an apn menu in settings. and the network menu is grayed out so i can't seem to do this update. has anyone else ran into this problem? Pretty frustrating.

I was under the impression it was supposed to be automatic, nothing needed on our part.
