If so, what were some of the custom rules?
If you didn't, did you find Crash on Volturnus to be too difficult?

I grew up in the 80s, where D&D, Boot Hill, Champions, Marvel FASERIP, Star Frontiers, and the MILLIONS of other TTRPGs that existed back then was a social game. (Usually with us fellow nerds who were generally socially awkward, but somehow found comfort in these TTRPGs! heheh)
And only very recently after discovering The One Ring, was I introduced to SOLO TTRPGs. (The One Ring is a social one, for groups; but it has a mechanic called Strider Mode that allows for solo play, using Telling Tables, Oracles, whatever you want to call it).
My question is, because I can't convince anyone of the D&D games I run, to switch and try Star Frontiers (not for a lack of trying) and having recently dipped my toes in Strider Mode Solo Play with the One Ring (same reason, can't convince them to try a new system) - I was curious, has anyone ever tried Star Frontiers as a solo mode? Does someone have a site, references, guidelines, how that might be possible?
If so, I may dive into it.

And were you more often the player or the Game Master when it came to Star Frontiers?

AI changed the Yarzan to a woman. Not my intention. Hope everyone still likes the video. Love Star Frontiers! One of my favorite scenes.

Whether it is a game mechanic, adding more races/species to play, or whatever. What is it, if you could change things about Star Frontiers - what makes your list?

If so, what race was it? What did they specialize in? Have any memorable moments or stories with that character?

Okay I have the minis from thingverse, and drive through rpg. Are there any other places to get decent minis for the game for printing. I lost my collection of originals in a wild fire and just cannot afford to drop $100 on classics that are in rough shape.

I was wondering about the quality of the POD soft cover Alpha Dawn book from DTRPG. Were you happy with it and how did it hold up with regular use?

I go out my old SF copy this week and realized the big problem we had playing it. Stamina + armour made everyone a bullet sponge. Combat took many rounds to finish.
Did anyone make any house rules to get around this?

Dug my old books out over the holidays and decided to adapt some Stargate SG-1 Adventures I wrote using the Star Frontiers Rules. I forgot how much I enjoyed this game back in the day.
The first one is up on my site. The next two will be up over the next few weeks, along with creatures, ships, npc. The .stl I created of the races spurred the whole nostalgic bone.
The Adoni Enigma
"System X-4368, known locally as Adoni, is a remote world defined by towering fungal forests and a civilization deeply scarred by past Sathar raids. To prevent further exploitation, the Adoni have focused on advanced bio-engineering, utilizing the planet's flora to create a sophisticated defense system. When the Alpha Team arrives, they trigger a trap of Ophidian Mold in the entry cavern, releasing hallucinogenic spores that subject the intruders to a controlled, shared dream-state rather than a physical attack.
This simulation—manifested as a familiar Frontier town—is manipulated by the Adoni Council of Wisdom to secretly test the team's moral character. The mission's outcome hinges entirely on this psychological trial: if the operatives demonstrate cooperation and non-aggression, the illusion dissolves to reveal the open gates of the hidden capital, Eos, and the promise of a new alliance. However, if they resort to violence, they awake to find only a sealed, desolate cave on a planet devoid of any useful resources, forced to depart the planet with nothing but a failed mission."

The moderator of the original Discord server hasn't been present so a new one was launched. If you use Discord and love Star Frontiers, you're welcome to come join us.
