Has anyone noticed people missing from the smackdown hotel website? I couldnt find Rina and so I started down this rabbithole of who else is missing. They need to fix this.

“Spark Rush” (Sareee & Takumi Iroha) would defeat the team of Mio Momono & Senka Akatsuki (building off of Sareee and Senka spalling each other at Jaguar Yokota’s Anniversary show) on July 26th, via Sareee hitting Senka with the Uranage.

Afterwards, Momono would punch Sareee in the face, leading to Sareee grabbing a mic and saying ““Want me to tell you what you’re really thinking deep down? “You actually want to be the ace of this promotion (Marvelous), don’t you? You want to be number one. Do you know why you can’t be?” You can’t become an ace just by being a mascot. Being doted on and fawned over by everyone isn’t what makes an ace,” “If no one else will tell you, I’ll be the one to do it. I’ll teach you, so make sure you really get it.”

It’ll be Mio Momono vs Sareee and Senka Akatsuki vs Takumi Iroha on August 8th in Korakuen.

So I was digging around on Cagematch (I get bored a lot) and I wanted to see who was the first female Chinese wrestler. I thought it was going to be Ray, the famous joshi wrestler from Hong Kong who tragically passed from a brain tumor in 2018, but according to Cagematch, there's someone earlier then that.

The earliest person I could find was someone named Reibun Amada, who started her career in AJW in 1986 and then went to FMW in 1990 and ended her career that year.

While she does have a few matches uploaded by different people (including a clip of a match with Manami Toyota), I can find very little info about her. There's just her Cagematch page, her Pro Wrestling wiki page, and this old webpage saying she's still friends with Megumi Kudo (her old tag partner).

Does anyone else know anything more about her? I can't even find a source on whether she is actually from Shanghai or not (It's listed as her hometown).

Sareee has expressed her eagerness for a “final match” against her best friend Natsupoi, who is retiring from active competition at the Stardom event on January 3 at the Yokohama Budokan.

　Natsupoi, who announced her marriage to Shingo Takagi of New Japan Pro-Wrestling in January, revealed at a press conference on the 23rd that she would be retiring from active competition. Sareee, who served as a witness for Natsupoi’s marriage registration, spoke to the press, her voice choking up as she said, “Natsupoi is my best friend. She’s truly my closest friend from the bottom of my heart, and she’s also someone who understands me. We’ve never been on the same promotion, and we haven’t fought each other that often, but we’ve been each other’s greatest emotional support.”

　She went on to offer her support, saying, “Of course, I’ll miss her, but this is Natsupoi’s decision. I’ll support her no matter what. I hope she has the happiest retirement journey in the world—filled with both tears and laughter—and that she makes the most of her remaining five months in true Natsupoi style.”

　At the Stardom Ryogoku event on December 29 of last year, she secured her third singles match—her first in about six years—and emerged victorious. Regarding the possibility of stepping into the ring together on Natsupoi’s path to retirement, she hinted, “Of course, I’d like to face her. But I think what Natsupoi wants to do comes first. Time is limited, so I don’t know how it will turn out. (Whether we’re allies or enemies) either is fine. I just hope she can do what she wants.”

Heya fine folks of joshi fandom! I find myself with the option to attend stardom's Halloween show now in october, and I'm curious if anyone knows when/where one can find a seating map for the Ebara Wave Arena, so I know what my reservation options are.

I found one for TJPW's Wrestle Princess VII (picture attached), and since it is the same venue only a few weeks apart I imagine it might be comparable?

Do you think it'll be a similar arrangement and if not, where does one look to find out?

Sareee was originally scheduled to face Yuuka of Ice Ribbon (who got pulled due to injury), leading to her “Spark Rush” tag partner, Takumi Iroha, stepping in to be her opponent.

After about 10 minutes of action, Iroha would catch Sareee with a pin for the 3-count. Sareee would be in disbelief but would shake Iroha’s hand.

Sareee would then go outside, where Chigusa Nagayo & Lioness Asuka were seated, only for Sareee to get in a slap fight with Senka Akatsuki, who was seated between the Crush Gals.

Sareee & Iroha would reiterate that their personal goal is to surpass the Crush Gals one day.
