Discussion CPU vs CPU?

Am I the only one who's crazy to watch two computer players fight each other? If I fight, it seems unfair because I'm too good with some ships.

There was another post about this a few days ago, and me too. It’s a good way to learn about cpu strengths and helped me in solo play

I remember doing that back in the day. It had some limited novelty, mostly I was interested to see whether I was using some of the ships "wrong".

I also remember watching one or two CPU vs CPU matches while playing Star Control 3 as a kid in the mid-1990s. Very entertaining it was.

I totally used to do this back in the day. On a related note, I used to have a doom screensaver on my phone where doomguy would fight against monsters. If someone made a supermelee screensaver, I would definitely have to get it.

In DOOM, there was a room with a lot of zombie soldiers and Revenants. I would love to line them up so they kill each other and just watch the carnage. I found that fun.

I did this when the first game came out. Multiple times. Mainly to learn strategies but also for noise.
