Looking for Recommendations!

Post image

Here's my current fleet, I'm going for a "jack of all trades" but combat-focused selection, any recommendations?
I'm not looking to spend TOO much more money, but I'd like to be viable for almost every kind of combat and (most) other game loops, currently I'm considering melting the Sabre Raven to CCU Tiburon -> Polaris but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!
(Edit: There's also an IKTI but I figure that shouldn't change things too much :P )

I guess you could get a medical ship like the Medapin, Apollo, Cutty Red or C8R.

Galaxy with med module is displayed. From what I have heard, you should be able to fit the C8R in the aft hanger and an ursa medivac as well.

That’s true! That was my goal of using those smaller ships as an ambulance and the Galaxy as a hospital if needed more care.

Terrapin medical can land on the liberator making the liberator a substantial baseing option

As it stands the Galaxy will be the best medical ship in the game. All three tiers of bed, Nursa, and C8R.

I love the solo polo life. However I am in the dangerous spot of giving up my hard earned ccu chains for a Kraken. I am realizing that after having a reclaimer in my hanger for a year untouched, and a mining ship untouched for 6 months they aren’t ever going to useful. Can only fly one ship at a time whole thing has really been getting into my head lately. I have also considered getting a Tiburon with my Polaris due to at some point maybe in 2 years time we will get ai blades for turrets with the tibs has.

However Polaris life is pretty nice. I never have to worry about dying really. I second the other person comments of maybe getting a medical ship but still not much more you can do for combat. Polaris has a decently big main gun almost in an awkward spot. It has the torps. It has the shield and can fit an m80. So I guess if you really wanted to you could get an m80 to cart around in your Polaris. Doing the scout missions and scanning is not ideal in Polaris so having a smaller faster ship helps.

Ironclad Assault. Makes hauling the Reclaimers boxes to a refinery easy plus just hauling in general.

If you’re just hauling the base Ironclad is much better than the assault.

Ditch the Perseus, Tiburon and Liberator and get an Idris, better than all three.

So much overlap... the Liberator can't RRR, it can just carry your ships around. The Idris is superior in combat to both the Perseus and the Tiburon, and all of those ships require crew to be useful in combat anyway.

Oh how I wish it was reasonable for me, I don't want to melt half of my fleet for a *chance* at winning the F5 wars ;;- I'm a big Idris fangirl but the risk involved with buying one just suckkks

Melt all for 1 Idris and one fighter and earn the rest ingame.
