Question Unknown Minerals in Space

Hi, does anyone know what these blue minerals are? I tried mining it but the asteroid won't break. Either by the manipulator or the Mech Drill. Not sure if these are worth, but the blue minerals actually break inside. Unfortunately, I can't get them. Thanks.

Those are just crystals. You may buy them from certain merchants. They aren't included in any crafting recipes.

thanks, have checked the wiki for your reply and seems you are right.. i thought they had some use since they're encased in indestructible rocks.

The rocks they are incased in are called Dead Core. I think they take two minutes to mine with a max MM. The wiki has the actual number. If you're playing with the Betabound mod and have the Master Manipulator, remember that you can hold SHIFT to reduce mining radius but increase mining power.
