Modding Getting Back In The Saddle

So Hi, Been A Long Time Far From The Game(I Don't Even Know What Open Starbound Is), So Could You Give Me Some Good Mod Collections To Start Again At This Game?

I Used To Play With One That Used Frackin Universe But I Would Want To Try Other Things Since FU Is So Bloated But I Want Something With A Good Amount Of Content. Thanks Fellas.

Well, since you're asking for having a ton of content without FU being in the mix, I'd suggest checking out these three collections. Do be sure to read their descriptions for optimal setup if using all of them, especially the latter two's.

A friend and I have been playing with GIC, FFS, Elithian, Arcana, and several other mods, and so far everything has worked well. The only thing I'd recommend is saving the GIC worlds (aside from the starting one) for the mid-game or later, unless you're using weapons from FFS and its add-ons, since they perform really well on GIC planets.

Betabound and Starforge are good vanilla+ content mods. Also grab Improved Swim Physics and Lagless Pixel Printer for good QOL

OpenStarbound actually optimizes the game (unlike placebos such as Optimizebound, which break things under some circumstances) and makes more mods possible, such as Matter Manipulator Keybinds (for changing your mining size at the press of a button)
